Introducing young pups to grooming
Grooming young pups can be challenging. Our Puppy Packages introduce them gently with a step-by-step approach, and if needed, we can split a full groom into multiple sessions to keep your pup calm and comfortable.

With over 14 years of professional experience in the pet grooming industry—and a lifelong passion that began at age 13—I bring both technical expertise and heartfelt dedication to the care and well-being of every animal I work with. Throughout my career, I have led salon teams, mentored aspiring groomers, and played a key role in talent development across the industry.
A cornerstone of my approach is education. I’ve been fortunate to provide training and support to both dog and cat grooming professionals, helping many launch successful, compassionate careers in pet styling. My grooming philosophy is rooted in a fear-free approach, always prioritizing the emotional and physical well-being of the pets in my care. I am also certified in canine first aid, ensuring safety and confidence in every grooming session.
I specialize in breed-standard cuts and have advanced training in Asian fusion grooming. At the same time, I take great pride in delivering high-quality pet grooms and comfort grooms tailored to each animal’s individual needs. I have extensive experience working with anxious, reactive, or fearful pets, and I believe that earning their trust through patience and kindness is one of the most meaningful aspects of this profession.
Above all, I believe I work for the pets—and when their needs are met, my work is truly complete. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your four-legged companions with the respect, skill, and compassion they deserve.

Leigh has been grooming for 25 years and has owned two of her own grooming salons during her career. Leigh grooms all breeds and sizes of dogs and especially loves working on double coated breeds.
Leigh only grooms one dog at a time and is available for appointments Tuesday – Saturday 9am – 5pm.

Growing up on a hobby farm in East Sooke, on beautiful Vancouver Island, I was surrounded by a wide variety of animals from an early age. This upbringing sparked a deep love for animals and gave me hands-on experience caring for —and grooming—dogs, cats, llamas, horses, Icelandic sheep, and angora rabbits.
My passion for animal care naturally led me to pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After moving to the Victoria area for university, I found myself missing the daily rhythm of caring for animals. That’s when I began working as a dog bather and immediately knew I had found a way to stay connected with the work I love.
I treat every dog on my table as if they were my own, though I have a soft spot for hunting breeds like labradors, hounds, and poodles. I take great pride in providing compassionate and attentive care every single grooming session. Whether that means helping pet parents address skin conditions, keeping a note of lumps in our senior companions, or working patiently with anxious pups to build trust and comfort in a grooming setting, I always strive to give the best experience to each and every client.
With over a year of experience bathing dogs and assisting groomers, I am now expanding my skills as an apprentice under our salon leader, Amanda. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from her expertise and to grow in a field that brings me so much joy.

I grew up surrounded by animals—my parents were licensed animal rehabilitators, so I’ve been hands-on with all sorts of creatures from day one. Whether it's a farm animal, a rescue pup, or anything in between, I’m comfortable and excited to work with it! On our acreage, we always had 3-7 rescue dogs running around, so you could say I’m well-versed in the art of doggie chaos.
Whether your furry friend is a seasoned grooming pro or a nervous newbie, I’ve got the patience and experience to make them feel comfortable. I’m currently working toward my AKC Master Grooming Certification and have a soft spot for creative cuts—anything from classic breed trims to fun and funky looks like dinosaur spikes (yep, you read that right). If it can be done with fur, I’m ready to try it!
I can’t wait to meet you and your fabulous fur-babies, and I’m excited to help them look and feel their very best!

Growing up exploring the wild Okanagan backcountry ignited a lifelong passion for all creatures, but her heart truly belongs to canines, especially the smart and spirited working breeds like setters, collies, shepherds, and terriers.

Hi! I’m Savannah, and I’ve been grooming professionally since 2018.
Working with animals has always been my greatest passion. Grooming gives me the chance to combine care, creativity, and connection, helping pets not only look great, but feel safe and relaxed throughout the process.
I’ve spent over 10 years in the pet industry, with experience ranging from daycare and boarding, to pet photography, to volunteering in shelters and spay/neuter campaigns for street dogs in Mexico. I am also currently studying to become a veterinary technician.
My goal is to make every grooming visit as stress-free and comfortable as possible for both pets and their people.
