Founded in 2009, Steven and Jennifer Campbell adopted their healing dog, Angel, from the SPCA while Steven was fighting Cancer. Together they share the love of dogs, exercise, outdoors, socialization and balance in their everyday life. Angel, Steven and Jennifer’s love and passion for dogs and the great outdoors inspired the formation of Heeling Dog Walks.Three years later along with the new addition to their family, Lobo, an 85 pound Labradoodle, the Campbell family opened the doors to “Ruffin It Dog Care” that offers a dog daycare, dog training and dog grooming. The Campbell family has formed a strong foundation of talented dog loving professionals including trainers, and veterinary assistants to produce the Ruffin It team. Together, they strive toward providing great Greater Victoria with the most diverse, well-rounded and customized dog care to meet each individual need.

We pride ourselves on giving back to our community. We join forces each year with the BC Cancer Agency and their vision to Inspire the World. Heeling Dog Walks was started out of the desire to help others faced with the adversity of fighting Cancer. We dedicate 1-hour of each day to walk the dog of cancer patients undergoing treatment at no charge, because we know first hand that the patient is not the only one affected by Cancer.
