Ruffin’It Dog Care is here today only because of a horrible disease that has taken too many of our loved ones early. Cancer. Just the sight of the word sparks sadness, fear and hatred in so many hearts that it may be hard for some to believe that on occasion, amazing transformations arise from devastating situations. Through my own battle I was so impressed by how many resources and services were available to assist me during the most challenging battle of my life. I always wanted to be a part of that. So, as always; I did exactly what I aspired to do. Since 2009, under the business names of Heeling Dog Walks, Angels K9 Services and Ruffin’It Dog Care we have offered an hour of a day to walk the dog of any cancer fighter in need. Through the generosity of our family, friends, clients and kind strangers alike we have raised upwards of $10,000.00 for the BC Cancer Foundation to date supporting their “Inspire the World” campaign and Ride to Conquer Cancer. Personally knowing what it takes to fight this terrible disease we have offered 3 FREE spaces in our daycare each day since the opening of Ruffin’It Dog Day Camp to anyone who is fighting cancer. Offering you a little peace of mind knowing that you can focus on self care well we focus on fido’s care. Let us help you when you need to go to your treatments, appointments or just plain out of energy from being in treatment.
